Description

Ready to use, 1K filler for car body repairs. Dedicated especially to plastics as a adhesion promoter.

Advantages

Perfect adhesion to plastics.
Easy application.
Very short hardening time.

Substrates

It is designed to be applied on surfaces made of various kinds of plastic, especially polypropylene, PP, and its mixtures.

Note: The coating does not improve the adhesiveness to the surfaces made of polyethylene, PE.

The surface designed for painting should be carefully degreased with detergent and wiped with abrasive non woven fabric in advance. Then it should be again cleaned with detergent, rinsed with water and dried with air. It is recommended to heat the element at the temperature of 50⁰C prior to commencing painting work, which will help to remove silicone compounds from its surface.

Use
For car repairs as an interlayer improving adhesiveness of coatings and paints to the surface made of plastics.

RP gun parameters:
Nozzle: 1,2÷1,4 mm, Pressure: 2,0÷2,2 bar
HVLP gun parameters:
Nozzle: 1,3÷1,4 mm; Pressure: 2,0 bar

Evaporation time
Between layers: 5÷10 minutes
Evaporation time depends on the temperature and layer thickness

Hardening time
Approx. 15 min. at 20°C
Temperature below 20°C significantly increases the hardening time.

Do not sand!

Further work
1K Plastic Primer can be directly over coated with:
- 2K acrylic fillers.
- 2K acrylic top coats.
- 1K paints and base coats.

General notes
- The best repair results you can achieve at room temperature. The temperature in the body shop and the temperature of the product should be the same.
- The rooms should be well ventilated.
Caution: To maintain safety, always follow the instructions given in the MSDS for the products.
