Description

Quick-drying agent based on synthetic resins designed for the protection of car bodies. Provides long-term protection against the chemical and mechanical factors (including harmful effects of fuel, oil, water and salt) for the front and rear of the car bodies, car sills, wheel housings etc. It is characterized by very good adhesion, creates visible structure, does not contain asphalts and bitumen. Can be overcoated with any lacquer systems*.

* Compatibility test is recommended.

Substrates

Product has very good adhesio to various substrates. It can be applied over:

Polyester laminates
Polyester putties
Epoxy primers
2K Acrylic primers
Steel, galvanized steel and stainless steel
Aluminium Wash primer
Plastic

Drying time
2÷3 h / 20°C

Drying time in temp. 20°C**:
2 – 3 hours
**Drying time depends on air temperature, humidity and thickness of the layer.

Surface preparation
- Polyester laminates should be degreased, sanded dry (P80-P120) and degreased again.
- Polyester body fillers and putties should be sanded dry (P120).
- Primers should be degreased, sanded dry (P220 – P280) and degreased again.
- Steel should be degreased, sanded dry (P80 – P120) and degreased again.
- Stainless steel surface be degreased.
- Aluminium and galvanized steel should be degreased, dulled with the abrasive cloth and degreased again.
- Old paint coatings should be degreased, sanded dry (P220 – P280) and degreased again.
- Plastics should be washed with water and detergent, matted with an abrasive cloth and degreased again.
- In the case of plastic, it is recommended to heat the element at 50°C before starting application, this will facilitate the removal of silicone from its surface.

Usage
- The best results are achieved applying at room temperature. The ambient temperature and the temperature of the product should be the same.
- Shake before using for 2 minutes and try it on cardboard.
- During lacquering hold aerosol in 25÷30 cm distance from the surface.
- Apply 2 or 3 single layers interval 5 – 10 minutes. Shake aerosol again before applying each layer.
- Clean the spray nozzle after use! – Hold the can with the valve pointing downward, press the button emptying the content for about 5 seconds.
