Description

2K etching polyvinyl primer with very high anti-corrosion properties for car repairs. Designed especially for wet-on-wet application.

Advantages

  • Excellent protection of steel surfaces.
  • Very good adhesion to various surfaces.
  • Easy to mix and apply.
  • Exceptionally smooth levelling.

Substrates

Wash Primer can be applied over:

  • Steel and aluminum after matting and degreasing.
  • Zinc coated and galvanized steel after matting and degreasing.
  • Polyester body fillers and putties.
  • Old finishes in good condition after matting and degreasing.

Good surface preparation is essential to achieve the best repair results.

    The primer is ready for application 10 ÷ 15 minutes after mixing with the activator!

    2K wash primers can be directly over coated with:

    • 2K acrylic primers.
    • UBS Antigravel.

    Caution: Do not apply polyester body fillers and putties, acrylic topcoats directly on Wash Primers!

  • General notes
    • Do not exceed recommended doses of the hardener!
    • The best repair results can be achieved at room temperature. The temperature in the body shop and the temperature of the product should be similar
    • When working with 2K products, it is recommended to use personal protection equipment. Protect the eyes and air ways.
    • The rooms should be well ventilated.
    • Clean the guns and equipment immediately after use.

    Caution: To maintain safety, always follow the instructions given in the MSDS for the products.
