Description

2-component filling polyester putty designed for automotive repairs. Especially recommended for repairs of extensive surfaces. Product has very good adhesion to metal, wooden and polyester-glass laminate surfaces. Extended pot life up to 12 minutes, increased thixotropy allows for comfortable use, good hardening time allows for easy and fast work.

    Soft-to-work polyester putty designed for auto body repairs.

    Body filler : 100
    Hardener : 2

    Stir thoroughly until achieving an uniform mixture. Stir carefully so as not to air the body filler.

  • Layer thickness

    Body filler should be applied in several thin layers. Before the application of each additional layer the filler should be cured. Sand it down before applying the next coat.

    Pot life approx. 8÷12 minutes at 20°C.

    Approx. 30÷40 min at 20°C.

    Temperatures below 20°C increases significantly the hardening time.

    Polyester putties can be over coated with:

    • 2K polyester putties.
    • 2K polyester spray fillers.
    • 2K acrylic fillers.
    • 2K epoxy fillers.

  • General notes
    • Excessive amounts of hardener will cause problems with bleaching of the topcoat!
    • The rooms should be well ventilated.
    • Tools should be washed directly after application.
    • Use the efficient personal protection equipment during the 2K products application. Protect the eyes and air passages.

    Caution: To maintain safety, always follow the instructions given in the MSDS for the products.
