Description

High-quality polyester putty with an extended life time up to 30 minutes at 20 ° C. Intended for use on large surfaces. Perfect for filling railway cars, buses, containers, etc. The consistency of the putty has been designed so that the product is easy to apply, but does not run down when applied in a thick layer, Notice :  an application in thin layers allows for better adhesion. Additionally, the hardened material has adequate flexibility and is easy to process. It is characterized by very good adhesion to various types of surfaces.

    Universal filling polyester putty for car and train repairs.

    Body filler : 100
    Hardener : 2

    If necessary, a thinner for polyester systems from Troton can be added to the putty, up to 3% by weight. Stir thoroughly until a paste of a uniform color is obtained. Stir carefully so as not to air the putty.

    It is recommended to apply in several thin (maximum 2mm) layers.
    The next layer should be applied after the previous one has gelled. Do not exceed the total thickness of the layers 6 mm.

    Pot life:
    20 ÷ 30 minutes at 20°C.
    45 ÷ 60 minutes at 8° C.

    Temperature below 20°C significantly increases the hardening time.
    Minimum application temperature : 8 °C.

    Polyester putties can be over coated with:

    • 2-pack polyester putties.
    • 2-pack polyester spraying fillers.
    • 2-pack acryl fillers.
    • 2-pack epoxy fillers.

  • General notes
    • Excessive amounts of hardener will cause problems with bleaching of the topcoat!
    • The rooms should be well ventilated.
    • Tools should be washed directly after application.
    • Use the efficient personal protection equipment during the 2K products application. Protect the eyes and air passages.
