Description

High-quality polyester putty with an extended pot life of up to 30 minutes at 20°C. Intended for use on large surfaces. Perfect for filling railway cars, buses, containers, etc. The consistency of the putty has been designed so that the product is easy to apply, but does not run down when applied in a thick layer. Notice : an application in thin layers allows for better adhesion. Additionally, the hardened material has adequate flexibility and is easy to process. It is characterized by very good adhesion to various types of surfaces.

  • Use

    Soft sanding polyester putty for large surfaces.

    Body filler : 100
    Hardener : 2

    Stir thoroughly until achieving homogenous paste.
    Be careful not to create air inclusions.

  • Layer thickness

    It is recommended to apply in several thin (maximum 2mm) layers. The next layer should be applied after the
    previous one has gelled. Do not exceed the total thickness of the layers 5 mm.

    Pot life: 20 ÷ 30 minutes at 20°C; 45 ÷ 60 minutes at 8° C.

    Temperature below 20°C significantly increases the hardening time.

    Polyester putties can be over coated with:

    • 2K polyester putties.
    • 2K polyester spray putties.
    • 2K acrylic primers.
    • 2K epoxy primers.

  • General notes
    • Excessive amount of hardener will cause problems with bleaching of the topcoat!
    • Use the efficient personal protection equipment during the 2K products application. Protect the eyes and the respiratory system.
    • The rooms should be well ventilated.
    • Tools should be washed directly after application

    Caution: To maintain safety, always follow the instructions given in the MSDS for the products.
