Description

The Z-B polishing compound is dedicated to polishing gelcoat surfaces and finished products primarily using pneumatic polishing devices. The abrasive material contained in the product is characterized by enhanced cutting parameters, while also allowing for a high gloss. In a one-step polishing process, Z-B polishing compound removes significant defects and sanding marks up to P800 grit (depending on the Surface hardness). The product is highly efficient and easy to clean after the polishing process. The product does not contain silicones or waxes.

Processing

Use
- Clean the surface to be treated. If defects need to be removed, finish sanding the surface with sandpaper of a minimum grit depending on the type of surface. Remove the polishing dust and wash the surface again.
- Polish using a rotary mechanical polisher with adjustable speed.
- Apply polishing compound on the polishing pad (wool / lambswool).
- Spread the compound on the surface.
- Polish in a speed range of 1500 – 2500 RPM.
- Polish until all scratches are removed and a high-gloss finish is achieved.
- Remove all polishing compound residue using microfiber cloth.
- Repeat the polishing process if necessary.
To remove holograms, haze and obtain higher gloss (especially on dark colors), use the polishing compound SPEC i1 Liquid with lambswool „MM” during the second polishing step.
